Connexion Internet par câble : non fonctionnelle

Bonjour,
Je me suis abonné récemment à l’Internet par câble. Cependant, je ne parviens pas à me connecter.
J’utilise un câble Ethernet (au lieu de USB). En tentant de trouver une solution cette semaine, j’ai créé une autre connexion soit : Broadband Connection 2. J’ai appelé au service technique et le technicien m’a dit que c’était ça le problème. Mais il ne sait pas comment l’enlever, moi non plus…
Le rapport de troubleshooting est :
"Local Area Connection" doesn’t have a valid IP configuration.
J’ai Windows 7. Si je clique successivement sur :
Control Panel → Network and Internet → Network and Sharing Center → …
… → Connect or Disconnect
il apparaît une fenêtre à droite en bas :
Currently connected to :
Unidentified network
No Internet access
Dial-up and VPN
Broadband Connection
Broadband Connection 2

Comment fait-on pour enlever la connexion Broadband Connection 2?
