J'ai téléchargé memtest sur clé usb comme vous me l'avez conseillé. J'ai redémarré l'ordi et il boot sur la clé usb. Le voyant de celle-ci reste allumé, mais il ne se produit rien. Comme faire une fois memtest installé pour vérifier les barres de mémoire. Il ne semble n'y avoir rien d'exécutable dans ce qui a été téléchargé sur la clé usb.

Salut, moi j'ai toujours utilisé la version "disquette", et malheureusement j'ai aucune clé usb de disponible pour tester cette version.
Peut-être qu'une âme charitable pourait la tester et vous répondre...

C'est pas grave ! J'vais reformater mon ordi pour le donner à ma femme pour ses jeux (son ordi à elle, aussi, plante régulièrement), et j'vais m'acheter un MAC.

Si c'est un problème physique comme le HDD ou une barre de mémoire vous ne pourrez pas le formater.
Si l'ordi à votre femme plante aussi peut-être que vos ordis sont mal configurés? Pas à jour ou autre?
Avec win7 maintenant les ordis sont beaucoup plus fiables, un bon laptop bien configuré coutera beaucoup moins cher qu'un Mac et sera aussi utile.
À l'époque où sont sortis les Mac G5 j'en avais acheté un et je l'ai regrètté amèrement, j'avais payé ça un prix de fou et je l'ai vendu à rabais...

Bon ! C'est réglé. Je me suis acheté un nouvel ordi. Maintenant, je vais changer le disque dur et installer Windows 7 dans mon ancien et le passer à ma douce moitié !
